The Albrecht Durer Assignment

The picture above shows two parakeets looking at each other as they sit on a thick straw rope. I used this picture for my Albrecht Durer Assignment. First, I took this picture and cut out the background. Then I used a graphic pen filter for the look of the parakeets and the rope. Then, I used a certain artistic surface pattern to fill the background. I like how even though the two different filters look alike, they still make the parakeets recognized from the background.
